Liability

These tools are free and provided for information only. A phone or a computer is not a certified sound level meter (class 1 or 2 of the IEC 61672-1 standard): its measurements can be several decibels off, especially without calibration, below about 40 dB(A) and above about 100 dB. The limits shown are reference values copied from the cited texts, with the date they were read: they may have changed, and the page never says whether a venue complies, which only a check with a certified instrument, following the text's method, can establish. The acoustics measurements follow the method of the ISO 3382-1 and 3382-2 standards, but with an impulsive sound (a hand clap) and your device's microphone, not with the omnidirectional source and the positions these standards require: they are estimates, not a measurement report. The spectrum analyser, the transfer function and the spectrogram are indicative tools: their filters follow the IEC 61260-1 standard and are tested on a bench, but the whole made of your browser, your sound card and your microphone is not a certified analyser. The publisher guarantees neither the accuracy of the measurements nor the continuity of the service.
